Plant & Animal Cell Organelles: Compare at-a-glance
Students will visualize the similarities and differences in organelles pertaining to plant versus animal cells. This handout lends itself to differentiation through the use of coloring and the extent of information required on the back chart. It works well in small groups, as guided notes, or as individual work. Coloring is recommended.
The major organelles that are shared by both plant and animal cells are featured down the middle "seam" or will be duplicated on both sides, while organelles specific to one or the other are found on their respective sides.
