This lesson focuses on living things and their survival. Included is the carbon dioxide and oxygen cycle, an understanding of predators, prey, and scavengers, introduction to symbiotic relationships, parasites, and animals helping plants. Terminology is included, as well as a SmartBoard activity (Identification activity – predators, prey, scavengers, parasites, and hosts.) The activity is also included in a PDF file so it can be printed and issued as a desk or homework assignment.
