Product Description

This is digital CLOZE reading assignment built with Google Docs. This passage focuses on the differences and similarities between plant and animal cells. Students are challenged to fill-in-the-blanks and "close" the text. Answer options are provided at the bottom of the sheet.

In order to type in an answer, students simply double-click on the yellow box, type their answer choice in the new window, and select save.

This is easily shared and completed through Google Classroom (make a copy for each student) or can be edited and/or printed as a handout.

CLOZE passages are incredible ways for students to reinforce critical concepts and vocabulary, build reading comprehension and stamina, develop context clues skills, and also expand their language and fluency skills.  CLOZE reads are especially helpful for struggling readers and ESOL students.

I hope you and your students enjoy this. I also hope it saves you time!
