The “Growing” Poem/Song and sequencing activities meet Reading Foundational Skills, Reading Literature, Speaking and Listening and Writing Standards.
*Poem "Growing" which I have used for years and am unsure of it's origin.
*Sequencing Activity: Can be used with ou without the poem. Pictures match the words in the poem. Students cut and glue the pictures in order. Later, they use the pictures for a writing activity.
*Common Core aligned lesson plan for reading, discussing and comprehending, foundational skills (rhyming and syllabication), writing and range of reading.
