This is a complete plants theme including posters, center activities, and printables. The base is Science branching out to other academic areas. Included in this unit are four center activities: "From Plants to Food”, a sorting activity for your Literacy center. “Plants, Parts, Tools and Needs” sort, a "Garden Zip Around" for the numbers 1-10 to use to practice reading left to right while building cooperation and self confidence in the children. "Flower Roll and Graph" a fun graphing activity for the Math center. This was made in both color and black and white.
Sunflower sequence cards for display and discussion descriptors are included to print on the opposite sides of the pictures.
"Plants Around the World" picture cards followed by homework printable to find and draw three plants found in the child's neighborhood

Craft and writing activity “I Looked Outside My Window and What did I See?"
Craft and poem "Little Flower" if you use poetry journals this may be helpful-if not it is still a fun activity.
An additional craft is a flower hat to make while counting by fives.
“An Itsy Bitsy Seed” is a song sheet which could also be included in your Poetry Journal or just a stand –alone which includes a pocket chart activity with words and pictures to match to each line
A crossword puzzle, maze, and word find puzzle are also included in this unit. These three have answer keys.
"My Rainbow Garden" could be used as a follow up to the story Planting a Rainbow" and reinforces color words.
