This compressed file contains both PowerPoint and SmartBoard presentations (both 4:3 and 16:9 Views) that teach the basic concepts of animals & plants and conservation that are appropriate for kindergarten children. There are two separate presentations – one for plants and animals and one for conservation. (Remember do not save the SmartBoard presentation when you exit, so it is always ready for the next showing.) The preview will show you exactly what the files contain. Included are worksheets for teaching and assessing learning. Also included are two booklets that student could illustrate: 1) Living Things and 2) Plant and Animal Homes.

An answer key is included for the pages where required.

(Although these files are specifically designed for the kindergarten NGSS standards, first grade teachers may be able to use many of these pages, especially early in the year.)
