This worksheet is a quick and simple overview of the process of plasmolysis designed for an introductory-level high school biology class. Students observe computer generated images and must determine what is changing in the plant cell and why. I have found this a much easier way to introduce the topic than viewing actual micrographs, where the membranes are often obscured. This would be a great prelab activity before looking at plasmolysis under the microscope.
