These are two of my favorite ways to use plastic eggs in the classroom—with scrambled words and money!
For the literacy station, use letter tiles (I love Bananagrams!!) to fill each egg with a word that students are currently working on/familiar with. The student will open one egg at a time and try to unscramble the word!
The mathematics station is a coin counting station. Use play money or real money to fill the eggs with various amounts of money. The students will record the value of each coin and the total value of each egg!
Both stations come with kid-friendly directions and two types of recording sheets--one for six eggs and one for 12 eggs. This is a fun way to mix things up for the spring season! :)
