This is a Plate Tectonics differentiated instruction project designed for 8th grade students. Students can choose different assignments from a menu of items that fit their learning style. Assignments must total up to 70 points to get full credit.
Menu was originally designed for Pre-AP/GT students but the options and/or point value can be altered to accommodate on-level students.
I have students work in partners of their choosing and give them 2 weeks of independent work to complete this project. Generally I use 1-2 days of class time to make sure they are on track.
