A printable PDF handout for drama, theatre or English students to fill in while viewing a film or recording of any full-length play.
I use this handout when I have my students watch Shakespeare plays and musicals, but it can be used with videos of plays by any playwright or time period
This is also a great activity for students to complete as a sub assignment
It is important for all theatre students to see a few full-length plays to expand their knowledge of what is out there and what important playwrights have already accomplished. This worksheet will help them pay attention while watching. =)
This worksheet is an excellent tool for helping students process what they are seeing and explain technical theatre concepts in writing
. After watching a video and using the worksheet, you could hold a discussion
about the play, allowing students to use their answers to help them formulate comments. You could also have students use their answers to write a formal essay
about the play (I have my advanced theatre students do this).
