Play Dough Subtraction Smash is a great hands-on way to have students independently practice their subtraction skills.
INSTRUCTIONS: Give each student a cup of play dough. Start by rolling out 10 balls of play dough and placing them on the ten frame. Roll one dice, then smash that number of play dough balls. Last, fill in the lines of the equation above with a dry erase marker. Wipe clean and repeat!
I have included 10 different colors of play dough on the subtraction mats to best fit your needs. I have also included a black and white version.
**I have added an exit ticket that I have found useful in my classroom. Enjoy!!**
