This is the currency I created for use in my classrooms for activities. Using a fake currency in a classroom can be applied to a lot more than just one activity, math lessons, fun games, the possibilities are endless. When I was in elementary, my teacher gave us a check balance to keep track of fake money via checks we earned throughout the year for doing good things and getting high scores in class. And at the end of the year we had a class auction using a fake checkbook to purchase real goodies the teacher had brought in, of course with varying amounts of money as each student had received according to their grades and behavior. Checks seem to be almost a thing of the past in this modern age and teaching students how to use them may be unnecessary, so classic cash may be a better option assuming your students can keep hold of their money throughout the year!
The image on these bills is of myself, Mr Harvey, as my students know me. But if there are any interested parties, I may be able to draw a custom image for your purpose. Let me know!
