This is a simple play dough recipe that I have made since I was a little girl with my mother. It makes play dough that is very nice to touch and play with.
My mother keeps it in a refridgerator in a box, but I have always found it more convenient to keep it wrapped in greaseproof paper or baking parchment in a box within my classroom for easy access. It does need to be kept wrapped when not in use to prevent it going salty/dry.
My play dough has always lasted me an entire year in my class and then I make a new lot for the next year.
You can use the play dough you make with my play dough mats found here Play dough counting mats
