Product Description
This file contains four sets of playdough mats created for teachers or speech-language pathologists. Save $$$ by bundling!!! The price of each individual file is listed below and available separately in the Primary Punch Store. The following sets are included:

This pack contains 20 play dough mats to practice articulation skills in a classroom or speech therapy setting. Each mat contains 12 pictures, 4 pictures for each position (initial, medial and final), with the exception of vocalic R and R-blends. One mat is included for each of the following phonemes:

/P, B, D, T, M, J, SH, CH, TH, F, V, K, G, S, R, L, Z, L blends, S blends, R blends, Vocalic R

A playdough mat for each month! Practice naming and identifying seasonal vocabulary while also playing with playdough! The vocabulary included on these mats matches my Monthly Vocabulary Packs.

Each mat contains the following directions which can be used during therapy or as homework!

Directions: Have students identify vocabulary, ask “Where is __?”. Once students find the picture have them cover it with playdough. To encourage expressive language ask students “What’s That?” while pointing to the picture. Once they name the picture have them cover it with playdough. To expand language encourage students to play “I Spy” by saying “ I spy a ___” or “I see a ___.” while naming pictures.

Here are the words included for each month:

January Vocabulary Words: snowflake, snowman, snow boot, mitten, penguin, hat, skate, polar bear, seal, shovel, snowball

February Vocabulary Words: heart, teddy bear, candy, letter, envelope, flowers, gift, cupcake, ring, groundhog, president

These mats were created for use in a classroom or speech therapy or classroom setting to help children with learning basic skills. Majority of mats work on naming or identifying objects or basic skills. I use them to have kids find or show me objects (ex. "Find the letter B, or what letter makes the "b-b-b-" sound?). You could also have kiddos name the object before covering it with play dough (ex. "What is this called?").
