Each playdough mat has items missing from the image. Each playdough mat has instructions at the bottom about what is missing, including multiple words with the targeted sound.
For younger children, it is recommended that an adult read the sentences aloud for auditory bombardment. For readers, have them read the sentences aloud to work on their articulation skills. The sentences are also meant to cue children in to what words to use while they are using the playdough to create parts of the image and allow for the adult to provide more auditory bombardment as they play, as well as auditory cues.
In addition to targeting articulation, you can target vocabulary and following directions!
Materials needed but not included: multiple colors of playdough (any brand or homemade)
