This activity set is designed to provide practice with recognizing basic color words. Several activities are included and are appropriate for centers, independent work, small group work, intervention/extension work, and take-home work.
Students create individual BINGO boards by cutting out the color or color word squares and gluing them onto their BINGO grid. The free space is also determined by each student. A second set of color/word cards should be copied to use for “calling” the game. (Answer key provided)
*Students match the word piece with its corresponding color piece to complete 11 color puzzles. A recording sheet is provided if you wish to have the students write their answers for documentation.
*Students label pictures of toys with color word cards. There are 6 picture cards. Each picture card has its own set of color cards. The picture/label sets are color coded.
