Description
Any teacher who has graded student fiction knows how painful it can be to read story after story that lacks plot. I developed these questions to get my students thinking about the different parts of a story and to make their work more compelling to a reader—and to make my grading job more enjoyable!
The seven questions in this handout will get your students to think about the different pieces of a story and how to make their writing more interesting to a reader.
For more practical ideas to help your students improve their writing skills, check out my Writing Workshop Guide.
