This is the ACTIVE FORM version of the common Plot Map, or Story Map, used to break down the plot of a short story, for instance, into its constituent parts: setting, characters, rising action, climax, denouement, and theme.
UPDATE 10/30/2011: CAN NOW BE FILLED OUT AND SAVED IN ADOBE READER.
This can be printed and used as a handout, or filled out online, or on a SMARTBOARD. It is an excellent way to take advantage of technology. Please read what I wrote on the coversheet for the preview.
I have used this successfully with some of my dysgraphic students, who have potentially brilliant minds they cannot express through handwriting. See if you find performance, and behavioral, changes among your students after using these forms.
