Mister Grant's Literacy Toolkits! - Plot Note-Catcher

This is a fairly involved Plot Note-Catcher tool, designed to help students record, describe and analyze the development of plot in a story, book, or poem. It has fields for the Title and Author of the piece read, the Protagonist(s) and Antagonist(s), and the primary conflict. It also demonstrates exposition, rising and falling action graphically, has places for students to record 3 major turning points in their reading as well as the climax, and provides space to record the theme and mood of the reading as well.

While this Note-Catcher was designed to record the details of a reading that students have already done and are analyzing, it can also be used to help guide students in building their own short stories and creative writing samples!
