Plotting Plurals: Super S Always Gives His Best!
(A Super Story about Plural Words)
“When it comes to making plurals, Super S gets it done,
because having items of two or more is much better than one.”
This packet represents Apple A Day’s invention for the super letter “s” that helps students make singular words into plural form. The concept of “Super S” provides students with an effective and fun strategy for adding the letter “s” at the end of words. Not only will your students remember how the letter “s” transforms singular items into multiple copies, but this packet includes independent activities that help them to understand when to add “es” and “ies” in order to correctly spell the plural forms that correspond to an array of words.
To increase each student’s ability to correctly spell the plural versions of words by adding “s”, “es” and “ies” at the end of words.
