This is the Power Point Package for "Super S Always Gives His Best!" A Super Story about Plural Words
An Original Story Created by Hope Stuart
“When it comes to making plurals, Super S gets it done,
because having items of two or more is much better than one.”
This packet represents Apple A Day’s invention for the super letter “s” that helps students make singular words into plural form. The concept of “Super S” provides students with an effective and fun strategy for adding the letter “s” at the end of words. Not only will your students remember how the letter “s” transforms singular items into multiple copies, but the packet (sold separately) includes independent activities that help them to understand when to add “es” and “ies” in order to correctly spell the plural forms that correspond to an array of words.
This Power Point package includes the "Super S Always Gives His Best!" book, 2 different poster versions and the story in poem format for your classroom smartboard equipment. Please note: the page numbers included within each slide represent the page numbers from the "Super S Always Gives His Best!" packet. This packet is sold separately and includes lesson procedures, note cards, plural rules and examples, independent activities (with blank versions included), and a letter to parents/guardians explaining the concept of Super S, along with the pages included within this Power Point package.
