Plotting points on a coordinate grid using lines of longitude and latitude is what students will do in this math station. This station (which is basically a fun hide-and-seek type of game) can be effectively used with most Math and Social Studies curricula. It can be used with multiple grade and ability levels, as enrichment or an introduction to plotting points and/or to lines of longitude and latitude (depending on the grade level). I've included the math station sheet to guide students, a link to the printable map that I use, and a comments sheet. You can use the comments sheet to make a quick note about specific skills or behavior while you observe your students. Have fun as your students try to find the secret location and ask themselves...where in the world?
STOP! This listing has just been bundled into an Activity Package! Check it out first before you buy!
