This resource can replace or enhance the current way you manage your classroom behaviors. We all want our students to use their manners, do their homework, be respectful, and feel like we care about each and every one of them. This tool makes those behaviors shine. Students move their clips each time you notice a desired behavior.
Character traits that are included: Caring, Responsibility, Respect, Safety, Perseverance, and Integrity. Also included is a letter template to send home, a calendar to keep track of the class' progress, and a sheet for each trait that gives specific behaviors for students to practice that trait.
You will need to make clips (like clothespins) for each student to move to the appropriate behavior he/she is exhibiting. You can introduce all of the character traits at the beginning of the year or add one a week and discuss each in depth. Another way to use this management tool is to assign each table group a number and make it a group effort to exhibit the desired behaviors.
If your school has specific focus traits, but you like this idea, I can alter these. Email me at firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions or comments.
