I created this set of task cards as a way to assess whether my students could identify whether a word was a plural, a possessive, or a contraction.

Students can use these cards individually at a center or they can work with a partner to test each other.

To make these cards, print and cut the page in fourths. If you laminate them, you can use them every year. You could also print them on cardstock to make them more durable. Store them in a baggie or punch a hole in the corners and put them on a ring.

This product includes:
>32 task cards with a color background
>The same set of 32 task cards in grayscale for easy printing
>Recording sheet for students to record their answers
>Answer key
