Description
Looking for an engaging way to give targeted practice on isolated skills?
Good! We've got you covered! Mystery Mazes will have your students excited to show you what they know (or don't know). With the quick-to-learn format and the included answer keys, these four targeted skills pages will be one of the easiest assessments/practice activities you will use all year.
Students must review the 100 boxes to find the hidden path from the "Start" box to the "Finish" box. There is even a "Check Point" along to the way so students know if they are finding the correct path. Once they cross the finish line, students are presented with an "Extended Practice" problem so they can demonstrate mastery of the target concept.
Students will have the opportunity to demonstrate their understanding and ability to form plurals by:
- just adding s
- just adding s to nouns that end in a vowel -y
- changing y to i and adding -es when a noun ends in a consonant -y
- changing some nouns that end in -f or -fe to -ves
- adding -es to nouns that end in -ch, -s, -ss, -sh, and -x
Included in Your Purchase:
- Directions for use
- 4 Mystery Mazes, one focused skill per maze
- 4 answer key pages
- The opportunity to find areas of student misunderstanding and correct them!
