I created these activites, because I was determined to make teaching plural nouns more exciting for my kiddos! These engaging activities will help your little ones practice spelling patterns for plural nouns.
There are 10 bright classroom posters to show the difference between singular and plural and the different spelling patterns, including adding s, es, ies, ves, and irregular plural nouns. There is also an additional poster that includes all of the spelling patterns, which is perfect for a writing center or reference.
Kids will love creating Plural Explorer Binoculars! The lenses flip open like books to show singular and plural nouns. There are 6 pages of lense choices for adding s, es, ies, ves, or keeping the same spelling (fish, deer). There is also another blank page for children to create their own words! The binoculars can be used as a display or you could attach a string to them for children to wear!
Take kids on a walk as Plural Explorers! There are badges included to help them dress as explorers. The badges can be attached to hats, binoculars, or shirts! There is a recording sheet for children to write down the plural nouns they find inside or outside on their walk.
