Description
Spin & Solve Plural Nouns Game
Plural nouns can be a difficult skill with all of the rules students have to learn to follow. Have them practice this skill at their level with this differentiated and engaging partner game! There are two versions of the game included:
Lower Level: includes the rules of add s, add es, and change y to ies
Higher Level: includes the above rules as well as irregular, y + s, and f to ves
To play, students spin and read the given rule. They then find a noun that matches the rule. They write the noun on the line and check their work with the QR code sheet. If correct, they get to color in the square to claim it!
Both activities include a QR code answer key, reflection page, exit ticket, and main recording sheet. Students set goals and learn to ask questions and justify their answers by using the given sentence starters.
An anchor chart is also provided as a visual!
Please download the preview to take a closer look. I hope you like it!
