Your students will LOVE using these QR codes as task cards
in a learning center/station, as a “SCOOT” game, or as a scavenger hunt activity around the school or in a hallway. The cards have a springtime theme but could be used anytime to practice regular and irregular plural nouns.
Students will need a device with a QR code reader app installed. Apple devices such as an iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad can be used. Android devices with a QR Code reader can also be used. You do not need Wi-Fi for this activity. Download a free QR Code reader such as i-Nigma, Qrafter, or a QR Code Reader from Tap Media. Students find activities using QR codes fun and engaging.
The activity uses plural noun rules for adding –s, -es, changing y to i before adding –es, changing -f or -fe to –ves, and irregular nouns such as changing ‘goose’ to ‘geese’ or ‘tooth’ to ‘teeth’.
**This product was created upon request to include a self-correcting feature. There are 24 regular and irregular cards for practice with singular and plural forms of words (regular and irregular). A response form and answer key is included with this product.
