Teaching plural rules can be a challenge! By using these resources and activities in my own classroom, I have found the students understand and retain the rules much easier. Included in this download are 5 Rule Posters with room to write class generated examples. You can project the PDF on your white board to use with the whole class, or print copies for small groups. There are also 24 task cards (a set of color and a set of printer friendly cards are included) to help reinforce and give students practice using the rules. These cards can be used as a game of Scoot, practice during an independent literacy center, or even an assessment.
A student recording sheet, teacher answer key and a QR answer key are also provided. You can print or project this QR code so students can self check their answers
Use with at risk, on level and above level students.
