This is a worksheet designed to revise the plural of the nouns. The first page is basically a study sheet which can be transformed into a mini booklet. Children will find simple and easy explanations of the basic rules as well as the main changes of the regular and irregular plurals.
To make the booklet, first cut around the outside lines of the table, then fold in half shortwise. You'll have now 2x2 boxes on each side. Cut along the middle line, but only from the fold to the cross line. Next, unflod the paper and fold it again longwise, along the cut. Fold the two sides (along the lines) so that they meet in the middle. The cover page should face upwards. Now unfold again, hold both ends and push them towards each other until they meet in the middle. Finally fold the cover page over to make the mini book. It's that easy!
On the second page you’ll find the same booklet but with blanks: children should fill them with their own examples. The worksheet continues with 5 different exercises through which the children will reinforce their knowledge. Instead of the traditional “write the plural forms” or “rewrite the sentences in the plural” I focused on activities with different levels of complexity that children will actually enjoy: crossword puzzle, word search, cryptogram and so on.
