This is a board game to help practise writing different ways to make plurals - add s, add es, change y into i, change f into v, word change, no change.
It is a game for up to 4 players. Players roll a die to move. When they land on a space, they must write the plural form of the noun in that space onto their writing card with a dry erase marker. The other players check their spelling using the Plurals Word Chart. They move back 2 spaces if they are incorrect and remain where they are if they have the plural correct. The first to finish is the winner.
1 Game Board, 4 Continent Writing Cards, 1 Plurals Word Chart, instructions for making the game and playing the game.
Just copy all the pages (game board can be enlarged to A3). Glue game instructions onto the back of the game board. Laminate all pages and cut the writing cards apart.
As well as practising plurals, students practise some spelling and learn the continents of the world; all while having fun!
