This item includes linked speaking and writing activities using the pluscuamperfecto plus two additional written practice activities using the present perfect and pluscuamperfecto.
The speaking activity has students ask one another what they had done when they were 10, using 9 verbs given. They are then to write sentences reporting back their findings. The directions ask them to do one about themselves, speak with the teacher once, and speak with two people about the same item. Thus, they can show a variety of forms of the pluscuamperfecto.
The next activity provides a situation in the present or past tense and students are to write what has/had happened, using the present perfect or pluscuamperfecto as needed. The final activity has students change sentences from the preterit to the pluscuamperfecto.
An answer key is provided, but note that many of the answers will vary on the first 3 activities.
I use this activity with the 3.1 section of the "Avancemos IV" textbook but it would be applicable in any class using the pluscuamperfecto tense.
