Such a fun center activity!
You will need to print and cut out the cards. Then, you will need to tape the “mystery mark” cards onto the back of some of the picture cards. Place the picture cards into the pocket chart. (I have also included some “agent a” shields that you can punch a
hole in and put on string/yarn/ribbon to make cool identification shields for the kids to wear.)
In this pocket chart activity, the children will read the short a word and match
it with the corresponding picture. They will check the back of their picture card to see if they have a “mystery mark” Then they will record it on their answer sheet.
I have included 2 sets of cards: CVC cards and Challenge cards (CVCC/CCVCC) so that you can differentiate!
