PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Students read, annotate, and SOAPSTone Charles Bukowski's poem, "so you want to be a writer." Students document what writing is and is not, according to textual evidence from the poem. Then, ultimately, students chose their own topics and compose an imitation of the original form and style of the Bukowski poem.

Packet includes:
* Daily lesson plans for six days
