Description
This product offers a fun way for you to introduce monthly poems to your students and work on fluency and comprehension. Create a poetry packet for the month or make a flip book for each poem. Students will learn a new, original October themed poem each week. Using a simple COPY, FOLD, & STAPLE method you will create a book that your students can use to work on the poem of the week. Each poem comes with a color version to display, a smaller version for your student to either take home or glue in a notebook, and a flip book with 5 activities to go along with the poem. Some of the skills your students will work on are: reading, rhyming, fill in the blank, sequencing, digging deeper, text to self, comparing, tracing, & writing. I have now added a version for you to make a poetry packet instead of flip books. Enjoy the update.
