Students simply put staples at the top of the book where the staple marks are and then cut on the dotted line where indicated.
You can teach one page at a time and then have the students put the flipbooks together after they have received all of the instruction about the poetic devices, or you can give it to them at one time. It all depends on the skill level of your students.
I tried to include a variety of poems and excerpts so that the book is helpful to learners at all secondary levels.
The PowerPoint presentation includes all of the information from the flipbook spread across more than 60 PowerPoint slides that will give you the opportunity to teach each poetic device in isolation. The examples in the flipbook are included in the PowerPoint so you can discuss the examples together while students learn about them.
The flipbook and PowerPoint both come in a PDF and PowerPoint file so you can edit it if you desire or print as-is.
