Too often, students in secondary grade levels are not given the chance to move about the classroom. This is especially true in an English class setting. This packet asks students to work through six different poetry analysis experiences by having a different partner for each one. Your classroom will be full of organized buzz. This activity is a great way to review poetry skills following a poetry unit. Students will rotate to six difference partners to practice skills such as identifying figurative language, analyzing theme, making inferences, and understanding point of view.
