Enjoy this Christmas themed poem ('Twas the Night Before Christmas) while doing your poetry unit!
The students will read the poem and code the different characteristics of poetry in the different colors to match the lights on the Coding Card.
The students will use markers, map pencils, or crayons, underline each one of the characteristics in the coordinating color.
Also included is a Poetry Characteristics Journal Page and Assessment Activity.
