Product Description
Included in this lesson are: a drama with a comparing activity, poem, and a rhyming couplet for posting on a bulletin board or in a notebook. The poem has a version to put into a poetry or reading folder as well as a version ready to be projected. In the drama two students, Howard and Anna, are helping one another with a poetry project.
The activity requires a venn diagram. There is one uploaded on my store, but the children could simply make their own. When I did it with the students, I chose a free verse and a lyrical poem. Kenn Nesbitt's website, Poetry4Kids, is a fabulous resource. Best results with drama happens when you allow the actors to have a day to prepare.
