This is an activity where students are placed into group and then visit different stations that ask them to do very different activities regarding the poetry we have read for my poetry unit. This will work with any poetry; it is not specific to any kind of poetry. The stations required the use of technology, computer carts, iPads, Macs, or a computer lab. The first station is a tableau, the second station is an author study interview panel, the third ask students to create a pic-lit, the fourth station is analyze a song, the fifth station asks them to annotate a poem, and the sixth station asks students to create a collage.
This is a super fun activity where students really practice poetry analysis skills.
