In the Battle of Feelings, students will read and analyze “The Rider” by Naomi Shihab Nye and “Spring Storm” by Jim Wayne Miller. After comparing the two poems, students will vote on which poem they think is best by writing a poetry evaluation. There are four levels of voting templates included, so you can choose based on your students’ writing abilities!
