In the Battle of Nature, students will read and analyze “Sleeping in the Forest” by Mary Oliver and “Ode to enchanted light” by Pablo Neruda. After comparing the two poems, students will vote on which poem they think is best by writing a poetry evaluation. There are four levels of voting templates included, so you can choose based on your students’ writing abilities!
