About the Poems:
I tried to select poems that students could relate to. They are mostly about nature and childhood. Because the poems are from the public domain, they were written many years ago. Many have older English and outdated words, but I didn’t want to water down the poetry experience. In the teacher answer keys, I noted words that may need explanation, and you will find the additional ppt slideshow helpful for some of the nature terms. Download the preview for a full list of the poems with a sample included!
I hope you and your students enjoy this collection!
