What educators are saying

Great resource for practicing a variety of reading skills! Fun and engaging for my students. Love that I can use these in small groups too! Not to big! Thank you for creating this!
This poem resource was great for a reading station in my class! The students enjoyed reading the poems, finding high-frequency words, and for some, finding letters they know.

Description

Create a poetry center or use these nursery rhymes and poems to accomplish meeting your standards!

KindergartenWorks brings you 45 pages of material for you to print and use. You can print them as 8 1/2" x 11" or enlarge to 11" x 17" on your copy machine and they'll still work perfectly in your smallest sized pocket chart. Print two copies of each and create a second set that you can cut and allow students to match words to the sentence strips.

Don't stop there - allow students to order the sentence strips, highlight the focus letters and read with pointers!

These sentence strips are a perfect height, with amplified spacing to help developing readers create foundational concepts about print.
