Make an iPad Poetry Recording & Listening Center on the iPad with a free app and included vocabulary cards.
Celebrate Poetry Month by easily integrating this low prep & creative iPad® mobile digital device poetry activity into your reading or writing workshop or centers. Students will use the included directions to record themselves reading poems and to listen & respond to their classmates' recordings. Younger students can practice fluency while older students can practice reading with proper stress and expression.
Also includes poetry vocabulary cards in color and blackline to display.
Packet includes everything your students need to make a recording and to listen to other recordings on the app Kids Recorder:
★ 2 Visual step-by-step student direction pages for creating an audio file and for listening to those already saved on the app.
★ 4 differentiated responding pages - copy a few for variation.
★ 9 full-color poetic devices vocabulary flashcards to keep handy at the center. Also available in a blackline version.
You will need the free app Kids Recorder. A clickable QR code to download the app from the App Store® online store is included in this packet.
Since my products all utilize free web and app resources, there may be rare times that the technology does not work as planned, which may be out of my control. Please be sure to message me in the Q&A section so I can assist you before leaving feedback. I use all of the apps that I base my packets on frequently and will update products as the apps themselves update.
