Display the colorful poster for each poem as your students learn how to write using the correct prose. Teach one poem a month or teach them all in April for National Poetry Month as you complete this unit.

Lesson plans are included for each type of poem along with online links to make learning about poetry fun, engaging, and easy! Examples poems are written by myself.
