Poetry Vocabulary Practice!

Poetry genre review task cards require students to identify definitions of common vocabulary terms, and to find examples of figurative language and sound devices in a fun task card activity.

Terms covered include:

You can use these task cards in small groups, whole group, or as an individual assessment of understanding or practice.

Each card is numbered and when used with "Task Card Answer Form" students can record their answers and self-check with answer key.

Teachers can have students follow the included directions and game variations or use the included word cards for sorting, test review, and other activities, too!

Answer keys for task cards are also included for students to self-monitor their understanding!
