Product Description
Poetry for a Year!
This is a Poem of the Week Bundle that you can use for the whole year! Poem of the week is a great way to develop reading fluency, comprehension, sight word recognition and confidence in reading. It's also a great tool to review your foundational skills, reading, and writing standards throughout the year. Poems are great for students K-2. There are 5 weekly, thematic poems for each month, August- May. There are also responses to go with the poems and daily/weekly lesson plan ideas to use with the poems. I have also included center ideas and pictures that will last the entire year! This center is a classroom favorite!

These poems are great to use for Shared Reading, the message portion of Morning Meeting, literacy centers, whole group, small group, fluency practice and phonics.
