These fun, self-checking scavenger hunts can strengthen student understanding with point-slope form equations. One scavenger hunt worksheet has students identify the slope and coordinate pair from an equation written in point-slope form. The other scavenger hunt has students compute the slope from two coordinate pairs. With the slope and one coordinate pair, students will write an equation in point-slope form.
Students will navigate through twelve problems. The final answer should lead the student back to the first problem he/she started. This resource includes two worksheets of varied difficulty which can be used to differentiate. Answer keys are included.
