This is an activity to get kids up and moving around, while also communicating about their math.
Students solve one problem at a time, and then find a partner who has completed the same problem. The partners compare solutions: if they have the same solutions, they sign each others' papers and move on to the next problem. If they have different solutions, they work together to find the one correct solution to the problem.
My students love this activity because it gives them instant feedback on each problem. I love that they really talk about the math!
I have included one copy with the directions and one without. If you choose to share the directions with the class in another method, the second copy provides more room to work.
